Day 01 : Land in Srinagar & drive to Sonamarg (90Kms)
Land in Srinagar & drive to Sonamarg by visiting Srinagar city. Reach Sonamarg in the evening. Visit Sonamarg (Known as Meadow of gold) Night stay at Sonamarg.
Day 02 : Sonamarg – Mulbekh (150Kms)
After breakfast at Sonamarg leave for Mulbekh, via Zojila pass at (3528M) Drass village (2nd coldest inhibitated place in the world) Enroute have a magnificent view of Kargil war famous peaks (Tiger & Tololing Hills) Kargil town & Mulbekh’s Giant Maitreya Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain. Night Stay at Mulbekh.
Kargil to Leh (230 Kms) Morning after breakfast, leave for Leh enroute visit Lamayuru monastery, Sangam, Magnetic Hills & reach Leh by evening. Night Stay at Leh.
Day 03 : Mulbekh – Leh (195Kms)
After breakfast at Mulbekh leave for Leh passing through Namkila pass at (3755M) and Fatula pass at (4150M) and then reach Lamayuru, visit Lamayuru monastery & enjoy the views of Moon landscape from there. Drive further to Leh, en route visiting Sangam (Confluence Of The Indus And Zanskar River), Magnetic Hill (which defies the law of gravity), Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Hall of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian. Night stay at Leh.
Day 04 : A day in Leh
Morning after the breakfast day at leisure for relaxation & acclimatization to the high altitude climate of Ladakh or free to explore the local market. Later evening visit to Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Night stay at Leh.
Day 05 : Leh – Nubra Valley (135Kms) via Khardungla pass (5655M)
Depart to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Night stay at Nubra Valley.
Day 06 : Nubra Valley – Leh
After an early breakfast we check out from the Camp and drive to Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snow capped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan.
It is indeed a strange sight since immediately on the left of the road are rocky mountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in the distance can be seen snow-capped mountains. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Later we drive back to Leh in the late afternoon via Khardungla Top. Night stay at Leh.
Day 07 : Leh – Pangong Lake (150Kms)
After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake enroute visiting Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh & 3 Idiots Rancho School & further 5 Kms Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. After visiting above two monasteries we drive further towards Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. The long easy ascent takes you to Changla pass through its winding roads passing through Sakti Village. Stop at the Changla Pass for a quick photograph session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax for a cup of tea. Leaving Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the "Indo China Border". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. Upon arrival we check in at our Camp Near Pangong lake. Night stay at Pangong Lake.
Day 08 : Pangong Lake to Leh
Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to leh enroute visiting Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Drive further to reach Leh. Night stay at Leh.
Day 09 : Leh – Sarchu (250Kms)
After an early morning breakfast leave for Sarchu passing through Tanglangla pass at (5410M), 2nd highest motorable road in the world, Skyangchu Thang (Plateau on Stretch of 42 Kms), Lachangla Pass at (5111M) and Nakeela pass at (5050M). Reach Sarchu by evening. Night stay at Leh.
Day 10 : Sarchu – Manali (222Kms)
After breakfast at Sarchu drive further for Manali passing through majestic landscape dotted with snow capped peaks, high altitude lakes and over the scenic Baralacha pass at (4929M) which connect Ladakh to the Lahaul valley. On entering the Lahaul valley we see a distinct change with the Buddhist influence being replaced with the Hindu religion. Continue drive to Manali via Keylong & Jispa town and Rohtang Pass at (4015M). Reach Manali by evening. Night stay at Manali.
Day 11 : Manali - Town Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast leave for sights seeing in and around Manali, visit Naggar Castle, Roerich Art Gallery and Hadimba Temple.
It is the old capital of Kullu with an ancient castle built by Raja Bhosal. It has been converted into a hotel under the HPTDC. From the castles balconies you get extensive views of terraced fields and apple orchards below.

In Naggar also is the Roerich Art Museum, which houses a collection of the paintings of the Russian Artist Nicholas Roerich.
Built in 1550 A.D. in a forest grove. Hadimba Devi's Temple is furnished with a Pagoda shaped roof and a front door way covered with figures and symbols.
Later in the afternoon you will be dropped at the bus stand to board your overnight bus to Delhi/Chandigarh or onward destination.
Day 12 : Manali Delhi (570 Kms 13-14 hrs)
After breakfast day is free for shopping on The Mall, Bid adieu to Manali with lifetime memories and take evening Volvo coach at 16:30 Hrs to Delhi, Overnight on the Journey.
