According to the legend, somewhere in the valley, there is a well whose water turns any substance into gold. This is something that means “Meadow of Gold’’. Sonamarg lies in the Sindh Valley stream, surrounded by mountains and flowers. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of the Himalayan lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajiwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Later return to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

After Breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Yusmarg. Yusmarg is a small meadow set in the heart of the mountains to the south-west of Srinagar. It is an ideal picnic spot, and the Nilnag Lake can be visited from here. A two-hour drive from Srinagar (47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic snow-clad mountains. After Breakfast. Check out of the hotel and Transfer to Gulmarg. Gulmarg -At an amazing altitude of 2730 meters above sea level, the hill resort has a gently sloping topography. Gulmarg is 57 km southwest of the capital city of Srinagar. The gorgeous hill resort of Gulmarg is dotted with sites of interest for tourists. Khilanmarg is the spot for skiing in the winter. You must enjoy the views of the Kashmir valley and the Himalayan range from Khilanmarg. It takes a couple of hours by pony to reach Khilanmarg, as it is slightly longer on foot. After Breakfast, drive to Pahalgam. Situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd’s village with breathtaking views. En route, visiting Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (a 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and a lot of rice fields.
