On arrival at Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri Rly. At the station, you will be received by our representative, who will be waiting for a warm welcome just outside the airport (customs area)/ Rly. Station by your nameplate /your referral and proceed to Darjeeling (7,200 ft. / 95 km / 4 hours), the Queen of Hills. Arrivals at Darjeeling check in at your hotel. Evening free for a walk in the Mall, where you will get a curio and handicraft shop. Overnight halt.

Early morning, get ready for the premier Himalayan viewpoint "Tiger Hill" tour, the famous sunrise viewpoint known for illuminating and getting the breathtaking view of the changing colour reflection over the Mt. Khangchendzonga peak, and en route back to the hotel, visit Batasia Loop, this is a war memorial, also visit Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries. After breakfast, proceed to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing rock, Tibetan refugee self- help centre (closed on Sunday), Happy Valley tea garden, Japanese temple & Peace pagoda. Back to the hotel. Evening free to join in a delightful cultural evening at Darjeeling Nightangle Park, where the different traditional folk dances are presented by local people. Today, we will embark on the beautiful Mirik Lake. It is about 1.25 km. long and a 3.5 km road surrounds the lake. The lake is the main attraction of Mirik. Against the backdrop of the lake, you will get an idyllic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga, and it is framed by pine trees, Chestnut, and Maple. Boating on Lake Placid is a must to soothe the soul of a weary traveler. Here we will also take a visit to Pashupati Market. This is a bustling, small market selling imported Chinese electronics and jackets.

After breakfast, embark for Kalimpong (4,000 ft./75 kms./3 hours.), the picturesque little hill town in eastern Himalaya. It compares favorably with other hill stations in India, with its mild climate. Half-day Kalimpong city sightseeing tour. Afternoon proceed for Gangtok (5500ft/124 km/4 hours), the capital city of Sikkim state (Sikkim is the 23rd state of India), which is also known as the most peaceful & beautiful state in India. On arrival at Gangtok, check into your hotel. Overnight stay.

Today, after breakfast, drive up for a memorable excursion tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. /39 km), which is one of the highest altitude Himalayan lakes. Most beautiful is this oval-shaped lake, almost 1 km long, with an average depth of 50 ft, and situated in the east Sikkim Himalaya. Again, drive up for Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13,000 ft/15 km/30 minutes). Back to Gangtok and evening free for M.G Marg. The popular shopping area in Gangtok. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Today, after breakfast, a Gangtok half-day city sightseeing tour to Tsomgo Lake, Rumtek Monastery (24 km), MG Marg for Shopping. Then visit a scenic waterfall, Ban Jhakri Falls, Ganesh Tok (6,500 ft.), Hanuman Tok, a small temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha; this place is best for photography. Also visit Hanuman Tok, Tashi viewpoint, which is the most popular photography point of Sikkim Himalaya, and then return to the hotel. Evening is free for individual activity. Overnight halt at Gangtok.
