On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative, who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport, it is a 35-minute drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah bridge, which connects the banks of the Jehlum river, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. We arrive at the Hotel and check in—dinner and overnight in a Hotel. Note:- Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more! In the evening, take a stroll alongside the Dal Lake, exploring the local markets. Motor Vehicles Department. J&K, JK traffic police, started shuttle services for tourists/visitors from the botanical garden to Chashmashahi, Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya temple (By order - J&K Govt & UT) - Road safety is everyone's responsibility. After breakfast, we drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route to Sonamarg takes us through a picturesque drive through the countryside. We drive through rolling hills, green forests, water streams, and paddy fields. We zoom past the town of Kangan, which serves all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we drive to Mammar, famous for its trout farm. We stop over for a cup of tea before we drive to Sonamarg. We again get out of our vehicles at a tourist spot called Gagangir. The spot is between a river called the Sindh. It looks like an island with snow glaciers on one or the other spot. We take a 3-hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier (By Own Cost). After returning from our trip, we visit a small town for snacks (at our own cost) or just visit the place to see locals going about their routine work. We drive back to Srinagar in the evening. We check-in at a hotel for our overnight stay.
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you can start your day with a full-day trip. You have a variety of choices to visit either Manasbal Lake, Yusmarg, or Doodhpathri, all of which are special in their own ways. Firstly, if you are planning to visit Doodhpathri, also known as the "Valley of Milk," get ready to fall in love with the unspoiled beauty of this place. Located in the Budgam district of Jammu & Kashmir, Doodhpathri is a valley at an altitude of 8,957 feet above sea level. It is located 42 km from Srinagar and 22 km from the district headquarters of Budgam. A cab ride from Srinagar to Doodhpathri will take only 1 hour. So, if you are planning to visit this beautiful valley, it won't take much time to get there. The other place you can visit is Yusmarg, or "Yousmarg," a beautiful hill station in the western part of the valley of Kashmir. Located 47 km south of Srinagar, it offers a wonderful view. This place is ideal for nature lovers who want to find peace in a place of such stunning beauty. In addition to these, there are many other tourist attractions like the Khir Bhavani Temple, Wular Lake, and Hazratbal Shrine that you can visit to make your tour to Srinagar a wonderful experience. The day will begin with breakfast, and then a beautiful tour will be arranged to the beautiful destination of Gulmarg, which is fondly called the "Meadow of Flowers," situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level. The distance is expected to cover 53 kilometers and is likely to take one hour. It is a well-known fact that the ski slopes in the region are the best in the world. The destination is also famous for the presence of the highest golf course with 18 holes. On a clear day, one can even spot the majestic view of Nanga Parbat, which is also called the "naked mountain," as it rises to a height of over 26,000 feet. One can even enjoy a cable ride on the famous Gondola ride and then move on to Khilanmarg for a mesmerizing mountain experience. The accommodation for the night will be at a hotel in Gulmarg.
Start your day with a hearty breakfast. Then, it's time to leave for Pahalgam, "The Valley of Shepherds." The distance from Gulmarg to Pahalgam is 130 km. The journey takes around 3 hours. During your journey, you will pass through the saffron fields of Pampore. You can also visit Awantipura Ruins, a 1,100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple was built by King Awantivarman. You can also enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside. During your journey, you will also pass through beautiful pine forests. When you arrive at Pahalgam, check-in to your hotel. Then, it's time to explore the charm of Pahalgam. You can start your day with a visit to Betaab Valley and Chandanwari. Then, you can opt for horse riding to Baisaran Meadows at your own expense. You can explore the beautiful charm of nature on horseback. You can also take pictures of the beautiful vistas of the mountains. You can also visit Aru and Chandanwari at your own expense. Both of these locations are famous for their cinematic charm. This day can be spent exploring the natural beauty of Pahalgam. You have the option to take a pony at your own expense to visit Baisaran Meadows, the Kashmir Valley, and Daban. All these locations are known for their breathtaking scenery. Movie freaks may also find these locations familiar, as they have been featured in many movies. The day comes to a close with a night stay at your hotel in Pahalgam.
The day starts with an early breakfast followed by a departure from Pahalgam to Srinagar. The visit to Srinagar starts with a sightseeing tour to the captivating Mughal Gardens. The visit includes Shalimar Gardens, Nishat Gardens, Tulip Gardens (home to Asia’s largest Tulip Garden), Botanical Gardens, Pari Mahal, and Chashme Shahi. Chashme Shahi, or "Royal Spring," was one of the Mughal Gardens created around a spring by Ali Mardan, a governor of Kashmir under Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632. This beautiful garden, situated in the Zabarwan Range at Raj Bhawan overlooking Dal Lake, has a picturesque backdrop of hills. The day comes to a close with a visit to the famous Shankaracharya Temple. The day comes to a close with a 50-minute Shikara Ride on Dal Lake, exploring the captivating vegetable gardens. The evening comes to a close with dinner followed by a night stay on a houseboat.
Heading Home with Cherished Memories After taking breakfast, visit the Shankaracharya Temple, Lal Chowk, and the market.
