Honeymoon in Srinagar

Day 01 :- Arrive Srinagar....(Local Srinagar + Shikara Ride)   
Meet upon arrival at Srinagar Airport by Holiday Travel Zone representative and drive to Srinagar Hotel. visit to the Shankaracharya temple (Shiva temple) which commands one of the magnificent view of the Srinagar City and the lakes. Later sightseeing of Pari mahal, Botanical Garden, Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) Built by Asif Khan Brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632 AD and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 to 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet weaving Factory. Cheshma Shahi, also called as a the royal spring :- Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built around a spring by Ali Mardan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan,  in 1632. The garden is located in the Zaberwan Range, near Rajbhawan (Governor‘s house) overlooking Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir.  Overnight stay in hotel at Srinagar.  

Note :- Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more! In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake exploring the local markets.

Day 02. : In Srinagar | Day Excursion to Sonmarg (80 kms / approx. 2  hour drive)  
After breakfast we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonamarg. The route towards Sonamarg takes us on a picturesque country side drive where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields. We will zoom past the town of Kangan which handles all the local needs of this region. From Kangan, we will drive towards Mammar, famous for its trout farm and stopover for a warm cup of tea before we head towards Sonamarg. We will once again alight from our vehicles at the tourist spot of Gagangir. The spot is built in the middle of the river Sindh and looks like an island with snow glaciers covering one or the other spot. In Sonamarg we will take a 3 hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier (By Own Cost). After our return we will visit the small town market for some snacks (By Own) or just pay a visit observing the local people going with their daily routine. We will drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the Hotel for our overnight stay.

Day 03. :- In Srinagar | Day Excursion To Gulmarg (60 kms / approx. 1½  hour drive)  
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 1½ hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. 0ne can also have the view of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3hrs..After breakfast enjoy Gondola ride (Cable car) (at your own expense) up to Khilanmarg to enjoy the fascinating view of Peerpanchal range and for pony ride. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow or skating (at your own expense) Overnight stay in Hotel Srinagar.

Day 04. In Srinagar | Day Excursion To Pahalgam (90kms / approx. 2½ hour drive)  
After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 90 kms will be covered in about 2½ hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to hotel. In Pahalgam, Visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows at your own cost. Later have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains. one can Also Vistv Aru and chandanwari at your own cost. Filmgoers will recognize it instantly as it has been the location of several movie scenes. Overnight stay in Srinagar House boat.

Day 05. Srinagar Airport -- Return Home With Happy Memories………..
After breakfast visit Sankracharya temple, lal chowk & local market than drop to Srinagar Airport catch flight for further destination. Transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight with memorable experiences of Holiday Travel Zone.
